This is a vision founded keeping in mind the whopping number of about a Billion people, who sleep hungry every single night, without the privilege of being able to intake even a morsel of food for days or weeks together and sometimes unto death. As an individual, you can support us in 3 ways:

Beginner of 36meals.com

A Beginner representative of 36meals.com:
a. Pledges to Not waste food at meals ever. Not even a morsel of food.
b. Pledges to encourage others around him to do the same.
c. Pledges to donate at least 1 MEAL every single year.
(Hence 36 meals every 36 years)

Intermediate of 36meals.com

An Intermediate representative of 36meals.com:
a. Pledges to Not waste food at meals ever. Not even a morsel of food.
b. Pledges to encourage others around him to do the same.
c. Pledges to donate at least 1 MEAL every single month.
(Hence 36 meals every 3 years)

Expert of 36meals.com

An Expert representative of 36meals.com:
a. Pledges to Not waste food at meals ever. Not even a morsel of food.
b. Pledges to encourage others around him to do the same.
c. Pledges to donate at least 1 MEAL every 10 days.
(Hence 36 meals every year)

Mission Statements

* IF you consume right, it shall safeguard someone's right to consume.
* Donation is Devotion! Donating meals is DIVINE!

Vision Statements

* A Hunger free world.
* Amongst the basic necessities, food is the most basic of all. All have rights to food, not just the able.
* A world with no wastage of food over a meal. The word "leftover", at a meal, should lose its meaning.

Targets

* To reach 1 Million Supporters.
* To achieve a donation of at least 360,000 meals.

7 September, 2020.

Registration Categories

To facilitate the growth of the vision and reach the desired targets for the year, each of the people registering with the vision, are given the responsibility of being representatives of 36meals.com. You can represent 36meals.com under any of the following categories & sub-categories:

a. Individuals

You can support by pledging above and Facebook pages (www.facebook.com/36meals) to show your support and sincerely ensure that you do not waste food anymore anywhere at your meals.

b. Institutions/Organisations/Companies

If you are an institution/organisation, you can extend support to us, by placing our posters in your Canteens/Cafeterias to encourage people to act on lines of not wasting food on their plates and staff is encouraged to cook in a pre-set tolerance limit. Furthermore, also encourage your authorities in canteens/cafeterias, to care to donate the remaining food, at the end of the day, to a nearby area, which has people who are in need or government run institutions/orphanages/old-age-homes/slums(if any).

c. Restaurants/Cafés/Food Chains

If you are a restaurant/hotel/food-chain you can support this cause in a substantial way, as it would be a daily affair for you to see a lot of people wasting food on their plates during meals. 
 A lot of food is cooked every single day at your outlet that would be going a waste at this stage, for which, quite a few measures are possible today.

We urge you to pledge to take these steps (some or all):
* Set higher efficiency expectations on the cooking department and monitor the execution to minimise wastage of edible stuff/food.

* Take it as a moral responsibility that all the staff is coached to politely convey to all your customers, about the whole idea of wasting less food and are given a feel of the great noble deed they would be doing, if they just ate right without wasting much.
* Place a placard that speaks of preventing food wastage along with the menu or at the end of the menu or a small statement that says “Food Not Wasted, Is Food Created” (the message).

* The sheet beneath the plate could hold the message too.

* Place poster(s) at visible locations in your restaurant/outlet(s) with the message.
